I received a phone call from the Team Leader (Kristen) late this afternoon, letting me know the girls have safely arrived in Zambia. I’m sure they’re jet-lagged and sleep-deprived, but feeling more alive than ever… Bring on the next two months! 

This morning I had a conversation with some of my team members.  We were talking about how our first three and a half weeks of this trip have been for each of us…  It came to light that all of us, in different ways, have been struggling with the work we’re doing here, and not feeling fulfilled in it. Not that we’re unhappy with what we’re doing. Quite the opposite, actually. We love the kids that we work with everyday and we LOVE to love on them in any way that we can.  We’ve already had many new and fun adventures in the weeks that we’ve...

   If you know me at the most basic level, you know that I’m a hugger. I love hugs. Fact: Studies show that hug are good for your health! You can’t argue with science. So, when we opened the gate to our compound and the Zambian children came running towards me and my team, arms wide open, it was such a beautiful picture to me. I was so excited to hug these children, hold them, and just love on them with then love of Christ. As soon as I was done holding one child, another one was right there to be picked-up next. I received a phone call from the Team Leader (Juliette) this morning, letting me know the girls have safely arrived in Zambia. Now they’re on a bus en route to their ministry contact. I’m sure their jet-lagged and sleep-deprived, but feeling more alive than ever… Bring on the next three months! 

The girls have safely arrived in Frankfurt, Geremany. They spent a few hours touring the city and are now waiting to board their next flight to Africa!  Check out a few pics from their layover in Frankfurt… One flight down… two to go! 

With Training Camp behind them and the world at their reach, these six Passporters (and their fearless leader) are jet-setting from Atlanta to Africa!! Pray for safe travels and leave a fun comment for them to read when they arrive!
